A new region is upon us in Pokémon TCG Pocket with the latest expansion coming out April 30, revolving around Alola, which Celestial Guardians split between a Solgeleo and Lunala-themed pack.
There are a bunch of cards to collect, like with previous expansions, with some truly meta-breaking cards arriving with this set that will shake the core of ranked play as we know it.

Celestial Guardians is the third major expansion (not including the subsets) for the mobile game and adds Alolan Pokémon and their regional forms into the game for the first time. There is also the game’s first-ever 3-star rarity Trainer card in Lillie, which includes an effect similar to previously released Pokémon in previous expansions.
Rare Candy also makes an appearance, but it’s hard to make out what the card effect does on the video, but we will be holding our breath to see if it’s anything like its TCG counterpart, which lets you skip an entire middle-evolution of cards. A game-changer could be on the way; we just need to wait and see.

With the set being split between two packs, you’ll need to open different packs if you want to get the full set and find everything on offer, so be prepared for a grind if you are looking to get yourselves a Master’s set and complete the full collection. Otherwise, at least try to find all the Diamond rarity cards to have any card you need when creating decks.
