Astro Bot’s Changing Room offers a wide variety of outfits, allowing you to become various iconic PlayStation characters. However, unlocking the entire collection requires you to conquer a few objectives and acquire a specific game edition. Here’s how to get all Astro Bot costumes.
Spoilers ahead for multiple Astro Bot cameos.
How to unlock Changing Room and Gatcha Lab in Astro Bot
Before we dive into the Astro Bot costume displays, we’ll briefly explain how to get two crucial features of the collection. Most outfits require the Gatcha Lab, which unlocks after finding 16 puzzle pieces. You’ll also need 100 coins to purchase each item, so explore the planets as much as possible. After you’ve acquired 48 puzzle pieces, you’ll uncover the Changing Room.
Buy Astro Bot costumes from the Gatcha Lab or complete a particular objective to fill up spots in the Changing Room. Then, punch any display to change into the designated outfit. They’ll function similarly to the Hero Stages, where you’ll change your form. However, it doesn’t provide a unique ability, as it is purely for cosmetic purposes.

The other two cosmetics are included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, which costs $69.99. It’ll also provide you with the Neon Dream Dual Speeder color, Champions’ Gold Dual Speeder color, 10 PSN Avatars, and the Digital Soundtrack & Art Gallery.
Unlocking the Throwback Outfit is a challenge worth taking on. You’ll need to save it for last, as it mandates you to collect all puzzles and Astro Bots in the game. But the reward is worth it once you unlock The Golden Bot hidden trophy, earning you a new skin.
