Thanks to Eurogamer for this. It looks like both, Final Fantasy III for the DS and Final Fantasy XII for the PS2 will be seeing European releases in the not-too-distant future. Well, OK; the FFIII release is in spring 2007.
Square Enix is gearing up for a busy first few months of next year – with Final Fantasy III on Nintendo DS now down for release in the spring.
That’s in addition, of course, to PlayStation 2’s Final Fantasy XII, which we’re told to expect early in the year.
I am always stumped by how Europe gets their games so late after the U.S. Apparently, Trauma Center for the Wii isn’t seeing a European release until 2007 either, because they need to translate it into a bunch of different languages first. I wonder if this is the same cause for the delayed Final Fantasy releases.
