At the end of every year, GTA Online rolls in some holiday shenanigans. We have some returning features to look forward to for 2024, including the valuable Happy Holidays Hauler. Here’s how to find and loot the Holiday Hauler in GTA Online.

Where to find Happy Holidays Hauler in GTA Online (2024)

The Happy Holidays Hauler spawns in the heart of Los Santos at Legion Square. It spawns more when you join a Public Session, as solo ones take up to an hour for it to make an appearance. The process works similarily to the Gooch, another feature added to the game’s winter update. You’ll receive a notification of its arrival, marked with a blue truck icon on the map. Those who haven’t seen this prompt after a short period should join another server for a quick refresh.

I had to join a few public sessions until one finally notified me, but it could take a while, depending on your luck. When the Holiday Hauler takes off from spawn, it follows a long road ahead, circling this pathway:

Use the pathway to see where you can meet up with the Holiday Hauler, but be warned: other GTA Online players will likely try to gun you down when going near it. I learned that the hard way when I attempted to loot it.

How to loot Holiday Hauler in GTA Online

To loot the Happy Holidays Hauler, drive towards the back of the vehicle and wait for it to drop gifts. Only one player can do this at a time, which is why many others will try to bring you down for it.

If you’re struggling to get any presents, you may want to do an invite-only session and add two players to improve your chances. Or, wait an hour to see if it spawns when you are solo.

Try to stick around the Hauler long enough to grab the cosmetics while you can.
