The festive season has rolled around and it’s reached the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, with the Gift of Giving event underway. As part of this event, a new crafting material is spawning on the Plaza, and there are gifts to be made and handed out.
Using Festive Wrapping Paper, you can craft different types of gifts that can be handed out to villagers during the holiday season. What better way to spend the holidays than giving gifts to others, and spreading warmth and joy? If you’re wanting to share the holiday spirit, here’s how to get all of your Wrapping Paper, and how to use it.
How to get Festive Wrapping Paper in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Festive Wrapping Paper spawns on the floor exclusively in the space around Scrooge’s General Store. One or two will spawn every couple of hours, but issues can arise when the store is located somewhere that is heavily decorated and there isn’t enough space for the paper to spawn. If you’re struggling to find any, try moving the store to a more open space and then waiting a little bit for more to spawn.
How to use Festive Wrapping Paper in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are four different types of gifts that can be crafted using Festive Wrapping Paper as a base ingredient. They can be found in the “Functional Items” section of the menu when interacting with a crafting bench.
Here’s each of the four types of gift, along with the materials you’ll need if you want to craft them:
Gift | Recipe |
---|---|
Delicious Gift | 1 Festive Wrapping Paper 1 Hot Cocoa 1 Minnie’s Gingerbread Cookies |
Handcrafted Gift | 1 Festive Wrapping Paper 1 Holiday Feast Chair |
Shiny Gift | 1 Festive Wrapping Paper 1 Shiny Emerald 1 Shiny Ruby |
Naughty Gift | 1 Festive Wrapping Paper 1 Coal Ore |
When you’ve made your gifts, you can hand them out to Villagers in order to spread the joy of the festive season. Handing out 10 of these gifts will complete the “Ho! Ho! Ho!” Dreamlight Duty, which can be found in the “Village” section of the Dreamlight menu.
You can also use each gift as a decoration, if you really want to make your Valley feel filled with holiday cheer. To do this, drop them from within your inventory and then enter the Furniture menu to move them into whatever spot you like.
