The rarest rods in Fisch by ranking

1. Trident Rod

This coveted rod is worth it quite the long quest you’ll have to take to get it. With a beautiful three-pronged design, plus its unique golden color, you’ll rightfully feel like the king of the sea. It will give you a 150% boost to your luck, along with a couple of useful passive abilities, such as the Atlantean mutation and the stabbing mechanic.

2. Rod of the Depths

This one is a clear endgame item, as it will require you to have completed the Vertigo bestiary and have the key to the depths. Not only that but once you have all the required items, it will still cost you 750.00C$ to get it. On the plus side, it is a perfect item for farming money, so you won’t have to worry that much about catching low-value fish.

3. No-life Rod

Well, if you have been playing Fisch for so many hours, then the name of this rod should tell you something. Once you reach level 500, you will feel an evil presence beside you, giving you the best rod in the game. Not only will it bring high luck and control, but once you use it, the fish will bite almost instantly. No more time wasted!

4. Destiny Rod

If you have your hands on this rod, then it means you are quite close to finishing the game. This very lucky rod will enable you to have an easier time completing the Bestiary, but you better be ready to fork over some serious cash. Not only the Destiny rod will require you to have completed at least 70% of the Bestiary, but it will set you back 190,000; better be ready!

5. Kings Rod

If you like your fish to be huge, and let’s be real who doesn’t, then this Rod will be perfect for you. With high resilience and control, it also brings in infinite maximum kg, plus the best Resilience stats in the game. To find it, though, you’ll have to go to the Keepers Altar and find it near the skeleton, next to the elevator. It’s not that easy to stumble onto it randomly.

6. Mythical Rod

If you are on the hunt for mythical mutations of fish, then this is the rod you should use. But to find it, well, that is quite more complicated as it only appears in the Travelling merchants’ wares, and, well, he tends to appear randomly on the map. Not only will you need to get lucky and catch the merchant, but you will also have the necessary cash, 110.000C$, to buy it. On the plus this rod brings the Mythical mutation, making each fish worth 4.5 times more!

7. Aurora Rod

While this rod does not gift you incredible powers, we can’t deny how beautiful it looks. When holding it, you can see the rod transition from the typical colors of the northern lights, plus it is embedded with purple crystals. While it will increase the sale prices of fish by 6.5 times, it will also require quite a bit of expense as an Aurora totem is required to get your hands on this one.

8. Frost Warden Rod

While this might, theoretically, be quite a rare one to get, as you will need to spend 799 robux to get it from the pack it is available from, we wouldn’t recommend it. Sure, it is a decent rod and, if you are just starting, it might bring some benefits, but you’d be better off saving your money and, instead, getting good at catching fish.

9. Fungal Rod

This one can only be obtained by catching an Alligator and gifting it to Agaric, thus completing the related quest. While it has decent stats, it also comes with a 70% chance of getting a Luck IV boost for 45 seconds, after catching a fish. The good news is that this boost will persist even if you switch rods, so you can bring that luck over.

10. Phoenix Rod

Easily found in the Ancient Isle for a decent price, this Rod comes with okay stats, but also a 10% resilience penalty and a maximum weight limit of 4.000kg. This is not the one you want if you are looking to catch any larger or heavier kind of fish.
