Best Warframe Nyx rework build

Your Nyx build will be slightly outdated after the Warframe 1999 update thanks to her rework. If she is a frame you liked playing or haven’t gotten into yet, now is the time.

That being said, if you want a build to carry you well into the endgame and most of the content offered, try this one below.

Best Nyx build after the rework in Warframe 1999

This build will heavily utilize her confusion abilities to lessen aggro, but also as a means to strip armor and soften enemies quicker. 

To start, use this mod setup below:

Aura: Energy Siphon

Exilus: Primed Sure Footed or Power Drift

Mods:

• Augur Secrets
• Adaptation
• Narrow Minded
• Umbral Intensify / Intensify
• Transient Fortitude
• Augur Message
• Primed Continuity
• Pacifying Bolts*

Arcanes: Arcane Energize, Molt Efficiency, Molt Augmented (choose 2)

This mod setup will utilize Ability Duration and Strength immensely. You’ll also mostly be spamming her Psychic Bolts to strip armor, confuse enemies, and receive all the buffs from those killed under the effects.

High ability strength will give you more armor, shield, and overguard per enemy kill, making you very tanky. Shields and armor are from normal enemies, while the Overguard is taken from Eximus units. 

You can also use her Mind Control to further draw aggro from you, especially when enemies like the Stalker Acolytes appear in The Steel Path.

Her other abilities are okay, with her Absorb only being useful when things go awry. With that in mind, you don’t have to use her Chaos ability all too much.

Best Helminth subsume ability for Nyx

Since Chaos is one of the weaker abilities for Nyx in this build, or one of the less synergetic ones, you can replace it with the following abilities:

• Nourish
• Roar
• Eclipse
• Elemental Ward
• Xata’s Whisper

Personally, Nourish would be the best ability here. With enemies having armor stripped, you’re dealing with red heath. Since Viral damage is strong against red health, the weapons you use do not need to be equipped with the element, so you can put other mods on them for even more damage.

You can put something like Gas on a weapon for health damage and pair it with Viral to create walls of damage to kill enemies quickly. 

Best Archon Shards for Nyx

Since you’re going to be focusing mostly on her Psychic Bolts, you can use the following shards to your liking:

• Topaz Archon Shard: Gain Ability Damage on enemies affected by Radiation Status.
• Crimson Archon Shard: + Ability Strength or Ability Duration
• Azure Archon Shard: + Energy Max

Preferably, you’d want to use all Crimson Shards for the flat Ability Strength bonus or duration for all your other abilities.

The Azure Shard for energy is only used if you encounter energy economy issues like spamming the bolts a bit too much or you’re not good at dealing with Eximus Units quickly enough.

With that all being said, you lastly want to use weapons with high critical stats and AoE potential to really make use of Nyx’s abilities along with her passive. 

It’s best to use beam weapons like the Tenet Cycron, Tenet Glaxion, or Amprex for high criticals or other beam weapons like the Synapse with Punch Through mods for hitting multiple targets.
