How to get almost 200% more gold in GO FISHING Roblox

GO FISHING is pretty simple, isn’t it? You cast your rod, reel in the fish, you catch a rare one, and you sell your haul. Simple, right? WRONG! There is an almost secret mechanic in the game that gives WAY MORE GOLD, and you likely aren’t even aware of it.

No, you don’t have to spend any real money to activate this, and it’s not something you have to unlock. This is just something the game has but doesn’t tell you about.

How to get 200% more gold in GO FISHING Roblox

Golden Fish! We’re not talking about the Gold Fish you can catch on Default Isle, we’re talking about Golden versions of any fish you catch. And before you ask, no, these aren’t super rare because you can actually make them yourself!

How to Create a Golden Fish

You can create a Golden Fish by merging five regular fish of the same kind. Simply start fishing at any dock until you catch five of the same fish and open your inventory. You’ll see all the fish you’ve caught. Now select one of the five fish you’ve caught. You should see two options:

• Equip
• Make Gold

Equip is simply holding the fish in your hand just so you can show off to other players.

Make Gold is what we are looking for. Select this and you’re five fish will merge together creating a golden version of the fish.

How much are Golden Fish worth?

A Golden fish is worth nine to ten times more than a regular fish. Taking into account that you need five regular fish to create one, this means that you’ll almost double your profits by creating and selling Golden Fish.

As you can see from our screenshots above, I’ve sold a regular Turtle for a 10K (not too bad), but then I sold a Golden Turtle for a whopping 90K. Even if you consider that it took me five turtles to make a Golden one, this is still a huge profit.

The best thing about it is you can do this with ANY FISH, as long as you have five of them, even Legendary ones.

We recommend that, from now on, you only sell Golden Fish to the Fish Trader and actually keep regular fish (so you can use them to create even more Golden ones).
