Infinity Nikki: All Photo Expedition locations

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take

The camera is arguably one of the best features of Infinity Nikki. It allows you to take beautiful selfies, but also gloriously detailed scenic landscape shots, and it’s packed with features that can be upgraded.

If you’re looking for a way to test your photography, or want a relatively easy way to stock up on Upgrade Packs to unlock new lighting styles, poses, or filters, then you can’t go wrong with the Expeditions Handbook.

How to use the Expeditions Book in Infinity Nikki

Before you can get into the Expeditions Handbook, you’ll need to wait for a message to come through from LuminaLens Touring Photographers. You can trigger this in-game event very easily by getting snap-happy and taking some shots with the camera.

Then, to access the Handbook, open up the camera and then select the middle icon in the top right of the screen. You’ll see a completely blank version of the Expedition Handbook, waiting to be filled in. Each successfully taken a photograph will earn you a stamp, and you’ll need to get 40 in total to complete the Handbook. Each photo will also reward three Upgrades Packs.

How to take Expedition photos in Infinity Nikki

The 40 locations you need to photograph for the Expedition Handbook are littered throughout Miraland. The initial 32 images can be taken purely through exploration from the point at which you get the book, but photos 33 – 40 are locked behind the main quest progression, with the latest of them becoming unlocked in Chapter 6 when you enter the Wishing Woods.

When you come across a spot where an Expedition photo can be taken, your quest on the left side of the screen will change to the name of the photo as it will be displayed in the Expedition Handbook. The location in which you need to stand is always very small, so you’ll need to stop and enter camera mode, then look around to find the subject of the photo. When you’ve found it, it will show up in a gold box with the text above it, as shown above.

Once you’ve taken your photo, you’ll need to make sure you press the “Upload” button on the right side of the screen (circled above) when the photo is shown. If you skip over this step, it won’t be included in the Expedition Handbook.

All Expedition photo locations in Infinity Nikki

The 40 photos that you need to take are located in the following areas of Miraland:

Memorial Mountains Expedition photos

With 15 photos to take and upload, most of your time working on the Expedition Handbook will be spent in Florawish and the countryside surrounding it.

1. Old Florawish Memorial

The target of this photo is the headless photo in the center of the plaza.

2. Memorial Fountains Log Bridge

Stick to the main path to the southeast from Memorial Mountains towards Florawish. The log bridge is located about halfway between the two.

Florawish Expedition photos

3. Swing by the Path

The swing you need is located right next to Elena, who sells flowers. You don’t need to be in the photo for it to count.

4. Lilina’s Statue

Outside the main doors of the Mayor’s Residence, can be taken from any angle as long as the face is present in the resulting photo.

5. Ray and Wing’s

Just across the bridge to the east of the Wishing Tree. If you go inside, you can also check off Photo #15 to save you from having to come back later.

6. Ancient Tree Swing

In the small circular courtyard to the southwest of the Wishing Tree.

7. Lakeside Picnic Area

There is a group of picnic blankets laid out on this shoreline, but the one you want is the circular one with a place for Nikki to sit in the middle of it.

8. Wharf Bench

In a small canopied courtyard opposite the entrance to the Wharf.

9. Street Corner Graffiti

At the bottom of the stairs that go south from the Wishing Tree, you’ll find a woman painting graffiti on the wall.

10. Ruins Plaza Corner

The target of this photograph is the smallest of the Dream Warehouse’s domed buildings.

11. Emerald Pond

This photo can only be shot inside the Dream Warehouse Cavern, which is found up in the hills. Follow the path inside the Cavern until you come across this small pond with a log next to it.

12. Quiet Cenote

Even though it’s technically in the Memorial Mountains, this one is included in Florawish. You’ll need to head down into the Riverside Cavern to find this location, then follow the path inside.

13. Nonoy’s Dressing Mirror

Head upstairs in Nonoy’s House to find her Dressing Mirror, and then head into the other room to also take the photo needed to complete #17 in the Expedition Handbook.

14. Sanctum of the Observant

The Sanctum of the Observant is located east of Florawish, along the path on the northern shore of the lake. When you get there, head inside and take a photo of the altar to tick this one off.

15. Ray and Wing’s Dessert Bar

Hopefully you’ve gone inside Ray and Wing’s once you’ve taken picture #5. The target in this image is the bread and pastries laid out on the counter halfway into the room.

16. Bibcoon’s Chuckle Club Stage

The Bibcoon Chuckle Club is located to the southeast of the Wishing Tree and has a giant Bibcoon on the outside, so it’s hard to miss. Go inside and head downstairs, then take a photo of the stage. As long as the microphone is visible, the photo should count.

17. Nonoy’s Bedroom

I’m not sure why we’re taking photos of Nonoy’s bedroom, but some questions are better left unanswered.

Breezy Meadow Expedition photos

Breezy Meadow adds nine new photos to the Expedition Handbook, and they’re all pretty spread apart, so get ready to do a lot of running, cycling, or teleporting.

18. Bug Catcher’s Cabin

Trying to get in the right spot for this one can be a little tricky, but hopping around a bit and running in circles seemed to fix it long enough for me to take this photo. As long as the windmill is fully in shot, this one will count.

19. Blossom Forest

Despite how pretty this area is, the focus of this photo seems to be the floor of the path. I managed to play around with zoom and focal length to capture more of the surrounding area, though, so it can be done.

20. Swan Gazebo

If you completed day two of the Wishfield Journal Event, Moments of Travel, then you’ll know exactly where to find this beautiful gazebo. It’s located east of Bug Catcher’s Cabin, on the circle platform.

21. Bullquet Habitat

This location is stunning, and can be found to the south of the main path towards the Abandoned Wish Fanatics Camp that you should have visited during day one of the Wishfield Journal event.

22. Queen’s Palace Ruins

The Queen’s Palace Ruins are located in the far southeast the map, east of the Bullquet Habitat. These ruins are expansive and overrun with Esselings, so you’ll have a battle before you get to the top to get this shot.

23. Queen’s Palace Ruins Tower

Southeast of where you just got the previous shot, there will be a path up to the tower. You’ll need to use lace trampolines and abilities to get to the top, but once you get there you’ll be treated to one hell of a view.

24. Art Academy Field Base

You’ll find this stage out the back of the Art Academy Field Base to the west, and it’s the focus of this image.

25. Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp

Inside the same cavern that you will have hunted for as part of day one of the Wishfield Journal event. Follow the path inside until you come across the largest cavern inside.

26. Shimmer Pond

Located just southwest of the Fishing Association in southern Breezy Meadow, Shimmer Pond looks beautiful at night, so I’d recommend seeking it out after dark.

Stoneville Expetition photos

Stoneville only has five locations to seek out if you want to fill out the Expedition Handbook, but a couple of them are pretty awkward.

27. Lakeheart Stonetree

To get the shot of this Stonetree, you’ll need to make your way up the cliff on the southern side of the lake and angle your camera very carefully. It’s a little finnicky, but you’ll get it.

28. Flower Field Viewpoint

Again, this one requires you to climb up the cliffs and shoot the photo from above. This one is incredibly difficult to position properly for, but you’ll know when you’re in the spot when the quest at the left side of your screen changes.

29. Village House Front

Probably the easiest of all the photos you need to take in Stoneville, this one can be shot from the main bridge into town facing eastwards.

30. Lavenfringe Field

If you hop down from the bridge to the north after taking the previous photo, you’ll immediately be able to take the next photo of the Lavenfringe Fields.

31. Village Corner

Just to the west of the Lavenfringe Fields Warp Spire, you’ll find a small house. Take a photo of the front porch to get this stamp in your Expedition Handbook.

Abandoned District Expedition photos

There are only four photos to take in the Abandoned District, but you’ll need to wait until at least Chapter 5 before you unlock he area and have access to take the photos you need.

32. Golden Fields

You’ll be able to get this photo as soon as you step foot in the Abandoned District in Chapter 5, as it’s on the first island that you visit. Simply aim towards the windmill on the platform and you’ll tick off this photo.

33. Handsome Lads Circus

You’ll reach the Handsome Lads Circus Warp Spire naturally as you progress through Chapter 5, so you’ll be able to get this shot of them frolicking at the top without much added effort.

34. Market of Mirth

The Market of Mirth is located on a platform lower than the Handsome Lads Circus, and you should have passed through and unlocked the Warp Spire on your way up the Stonetree. The target of this photo is the Pieceys on the stage.

35. Choo-Choo Station

The Choo Choo Station is explored during the process of Chapter 5, so you’ll unlock this area naturally. Getting a good shot of the Station is difficult, but if you move the camera up, you can get a pretty clear view.

Wishing Woods Expedition photos

The final five Expedition Handbook photos can be snapped in the Wishing Woods, which will be unlocked as you progress through Chapter 6.

36. Valley Entrance

This photo can be taken as soon as you step foot in the Wishing Woods for the first time, and will count as long as you’re facing north up the path.

37. Wishcraft Lab Entrance

The Wishcraft Lab is another location that you’ll visit during Chapter 6, so just keep progressing the main story and you’ll get this photo without getting too distracted.

38. Tranquil Shoal

Don’t let the map confuse you. You need to be standing underneath the tree in order to get this photo, close to the edge of the water but not quite in it.

39. Grand Millewish Tree

Once you’ve got your shot from beneath the canopy of the tree, head west and stand just north of the Shoal Slope Warp Spire to get a shot of the tree itself.

40. Timis’s Beauty Lab

Timis’s Lab looks like something straight out of Lord of the Rings, and you’ll visit as part of Chapter 6’s main story.

Expedition Handbook Secret Location

After capturing all 40 of the other photos, you’ll be able to go and capture this “secret” location. You’ve likely seen it before, it’s the gazebo on the small path near Memorial Mountains:

Unfortunately, this final photo appears to be broken as nobody has been able to capture it in order to log it in the Expedition Handbook. On the plus side, it’s not difficult to find, so when a fix is implemented we can all get our final shot.
