The Gianluigi Buffon On This Day Icon SBC is now live in EA FC 25, and you can unlock an icon for your Ultimate Team squad.

This is the first special version of Buffon this year. While this version is weaker in terms of in-game stats (compared to his Base Icon version), it’s far more affordable. All you need to do is to complete all the tasks that are part of this challenge.

Personally, I don’t like spending big on goalkeepers given the state of EA FC 25’s gameplay. That said, Buffon’s base version is one of the best shot-stoppers in the game. The OTD version will be more than decent and should serve you well. He will also offer bonus chemistry, which can be immensely helpful when it comes to squad building.
