When you look at your Scorestreak tab, you’ll see a slot for four Ritual Items. The objects in question involve the Citadelle des Morts Main Quest, tying into the elite elemental swords.
So, if you want to know how to get the Ritual Items in BO6 Zombies, here’s everything you need to know.

All Ritual Items locations in BO6 Zombies
Before you start on the Ritual Item search in BO6 Zombies, ensure that you complete the Pack-a-Punch mission (you’ll receive this upon start) and speak to Krafft (behind Quick Revive). You must also acquire all elemental swords and Page Fragments. Achieving these tasks will be crucial later on, helping you out for the Citadelle Des Morts Main Quest. Now that we covered some prerequisites, here’s a list of the Ritual Items you can get:
- Otto’s Horseshoe (turns into Pegasus’ Horseshoe)
- Ra’s Ankh
- Raven’s Talon
- Paladin’s Brooch
You can acquire these items in any order and at any time, provided that you have unlocked the main doorways. We’ll break down each of them to show you all BO6 Zombies Ritual Item locations.
Otto’s Horseshoe and Pegasus’ Horseshoe location in BO6 Zombies
Otto’s Horseshoe is the easiest Ritual Item to get, as it can be found in the primary starter area. Travel to the Deadshot Daquiri Perk machine at D5 coordinates.
Go inside the barn and look toward the doorway to shoot down the horseshoe. It’ll drop down, giving you Otto’s Horseshoe. However, you’ll need to upgrade it to turn it into Pegasus’ Horseshoe.
To do this, go to the giant cannon at E4 coordinates (you’ll encounter this during the Pack-a-Punch machine). Pay the fee to launch yourself from it, triggering a bolt of lightning. Look above to spot a small gray cloud. It’ll appear anywhere on the map, so just keep your eyes on the sky.
Go to the area below the cloud to drop the Pegasus’ Horseshoe below. Be aware that this event will spawn a bunch of zombies, but it shouldn’t be too overwhelming during the early rounds.
Ra’s Ankh location in BO6 Zombies
Ra’s Ankh won’t be out in the open like Otto’s Horseshoe, and you’ll need to complete a few steps to unlock its location. Acquire three Molotov Cocktails from the crafting bench and go up to the cannon area. Stick around the cannon’s main pathway at coordinates D4, E4, and F4. If you happen to miss any of the targets, just pick up another cocktail from the crafting bench and try again.
While up there, go to the left side and throw the Molotov Cocktail on the wood piles above an entryway. The wood pile will light up, causing zombies to spawn. That means you’ve done things correctly, which will happen two more times with the other ones.
Now, head to the center of the walkway, right next to the cannon. Throw another cocktail at the wood pile on top of the front side of the castle.
Move on to the right side of the cannon’s main walkway. Position yourself in front of the barrels of oil. You’ll see a wood pile off in the distance. Throw the last Molotov Cocktail to spawn yet another group of zombies.
Eliminate the Doppelghast that spawns from the last wood pile, and it’ll drop Ra’s Ankh.
Raven’s Talon location in BO6 Zombies
Like the Horseshoe Ritual Item, the Raven’s Talon will be pretty easy to get. Head to the area with the Pack-a-Punch machine at the lower floor E3 coordinates.
Use the Cave Slide there to start slipping and sliding down a cave.
After a few seconds, shoot the raven at the end of the cave. You may miss it the first time around since you’ll be moving fast. Just try the Cave Slide again until Krafft notifies you about the raven. I recommend using the Mustang and Sally build, considering that it has a large area of effect.
You’ll end up back at spawn at the end of the slide, where you must shoot the raven up in the sky. It’s possible to miss the raven again here, as it will appear right after the slide. Move around the map, and it should eventually appear above. Once successful, you’ll see a glow from the bird that’ll drop to the ground. Approach the area of impact to pick up the Raven’s Talon.
Paladin’s Brooch location in BO6 Zombies
For the Paladin’s Brooch, go to the Knights room with the Vulture Aid Perk machine (F1 coordinates). You’ll find some crystals over there, where you must shoot them in this order:
- Shoot the red crystal above the Vulture Aid machine from the bottom floor, producing a faint beam of light).
- Go upstairs and hit the same crystal again, which makes the beam of light more prominent.
- Position yourself in front of Vulture Aid and hit the crystal above the entryway.
- Go to the left of the Vulture Aid and shoot the crystal above the Lion Knight statue to cast the beam toward the Alchemical Lab.
By the end, it should look like this:
Follow the beam and perform these steps:
- Go to the Alchemical Lab.
- Shoot the glowing crystal from the right until it hits the crystal above the Arsenal machine.
- Position yourself in front of the table with the colorful elemental symbols and shoot the Arsenal machine crystal.
You may have to shoot the crystals a few more times to move them around, but by the end of it, the beams of light (the red lines) should look like this:
Approach the table with the colorful elemental symbols to pick up the Paladin’s Brooch.
How to upgrade Ritual Item in BO6 Zombies
You must upgrade the Ritual Items by locating four glowing circles, placing the item down, and then eliminating zombies around it. It doesn’t matter which order you do this in, so just make sure to stick around its radius to farm the undead souls. Each Ritual Item upgrade can be found in the following areas:
Paladin’s Brooch Upgrade location
Head to the Knights room at F1 coordinates. You’ll see the yellow circle there, next to the entryway.
Ra’s Ankh upgrade location
At the front of the castle, you’ll find a glowing circle on the right side (F4 coordinates).
Pegasus’ Horseshoe upgrade location
Return to the spawn area, and you’ll find another glowing circle near the pathway to Deadshot Daquiri.
Raven’s Talon upgrade location
The lower floor near Pack-a-Punch and Quick Revive holds the upgrade for the Raven’s Talon. Go to the lower floor D2 coordinates to find the glowing circle in the Undercroft.
How to get and use Incantations in Citadelle des Morts Main Quest
Each time you complete a Ritual Item upgrade, a chest will spawn. Hit the chest with its corresponding sword to get an Incantation.
Incantations provide you with elemental buffs, depending on what elemental sword it uses. You can get the following Incantations from each chest:
- Dark Incantation (Raven Sword): Raven’s Talons chest at Undercroft
- Light Incantation (Lion Sword): Paladin’s Brooch chest at Knights room
- Electric Incantation (Stag Sword): Pegasus’ Horseshoe chest at spawn
- Dragon Incantation (Dragon Sword): Ra’s Ankh chest at the front of the castle
For the Citadelle de Morts Main quest, you must use the Incantations at the Knights area. However, you’ll need to find the correct order first by locating and using the Page Fragments. As long as you’ve completed the Page Fragment step, go to the Sitting Room and open the doors on the right. You’ll find a piece of artwork at the D1 coordinates.
Here, you should see the order of your sword Incantations (my order will be different from yours since it’s randomized each playthrough):
Note down your unique Incantation order and return to the Knights’s room. Fortunately, any Incantations you’ve picked up along the way will now be in this room on four pedestals.
Next, you’ll need to perform the following steps with each sword:
- Equip your sword based on your Incantation combination
- Pick up its Incantation from a nearby chest in the Knights room
- Go in front of the sword’s corresponding Knight
- Inspect your weapon in front of Knight
- Repeat these steps three more times using the correct order
After you’ve performed the steps above, a Mystic Orb will appear, indicating that you’ve done it correctly. You’ll now move on to the next step in the BO6 Zombies Citadelle Des Morts Main Quest.
