Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is the latest entry in the wildly popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, which has spawned anime adaptions, a manga and even Tactical Doll action figures. The previous game in the series saw the Griffin PMC disbanded, but you can’t keep a good Commander down. You’ll lead Tactical Dolls or ‘T-Dolls’ into nail-bitingly tense tactical combat as you battle to uncover a shadowy conspiracy.  

The game’s turn-based battle system gives you time to think, but that doesn’t mean Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium will be a cakewalk. Your T-Dolls take on challenging foes across diverse battlefields, with the action stunningly rendered in Sunborn Games’ Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR) art system, so you’ll absolutely need to be on your toes. 

There are many, many T-Dolls to recruit and, classed as Sentinel, Vanguard, Bulwark, and Support, they’re as lethal as they are pretty. It’s down to you to decide how to best deploy their skills, and every decision counts. Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium even lets you inspect and customise each T-Doll’s weapon of choice, right down to applying custom skins. 

It’s not all business, though. You can interact with the T-Dolls during their downtime, tackle minigames, switch up their combat suits and more. And while long-time fans will be right at home, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium’s tells an all new-story, so newcomers needn’t worry about feeling lost.
