As you might have noticed, we’ve entered Holiday mode. In the gaming community, this takes many strange forms. From the guys who made Bulletstorm launching torsos at a Christmas tree, to SEGA actually sending Jim Sterling something without a hint of vindictiveness. It’s a wacky time of year. So wacky, in fact, that Jon Carnage and I were put in charge of making very special holiday episode of The Destructoid Show.
For the special, we were thinking it’d be nice to reminisce about our treasured gaming holiday memories. Carnage and I only have so many fond memories of anything, let alone the holidays, so that’s where we could use your help.
What gaming-related holiday memory of yours stands out the most?
It could be a fond memory, like when you were the first kid on the block to get a Nintendo 64, or even better, if could be that miserable time your mom gave you Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge when you really wanted Bonestorm instead.
Share your tales of good cheer in the comments, and we’ll pick a few gems to read on the show. If you’ve got pictures or video to go with ’em, even better.
