Gamescom trailer for SSX shows ghosts, global events

While I’ll be the first to admit that Electronic Arts had me at “snowboarding game,” SSX is shaping up quite nicely. In this gamescom trailer, we’re told about a few new features.

As has been the case with pretty much every competitive online title from the company, social interaction is being pushed for SSX. Players will have the option of uploading — and competing against — ghosts. There’s also something called Ridernet (presumably akin to Autolog), which promises global events of up to 100,000 players “live at once.”

That’s a lot of wingsuits.
