Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet — Harmonix has not officially confirmed the full setlist for Rock Band 3, okay?

Yes, a video leaked online that reportedly showed off a list of unannounced tracks on the game’s song selection screen. And yeah, we were basically embargoed to hell and back on personally commenting on it (we decided not to run it), but that’s not confirmation that we can confirm that the list is real, either. Because you know, it hasn’t been announced yet, right?

The Harmonix crew took some time out from its busy gamescom schedule to make a public statement on the matter, hereby confirming that it hasn’t confirmed anything yet. And no, that’s not the entire setlist being scrolled through on the screen back there. Because it would be irresponsible for Harmonix to accidentally reveal the setlist before our own embargo is up, and like, it wouldn’t do that.

And we wouldn’t post the entire alleged Rock Band 3 setlist (via Spawn Kill) after the break, either.
