According to comic writer Geoff Johns, Warner Bros. Interactive is currently working on a videogame adaptation of the DC Comics property, Suicide Squad.

The info, with little detail, was revealed at the “DC Focus: Geoff Johns” panel at Comic-Con this week. What we do know about the game is that it’s not going to be for the children — Johns referred to the game as “hardcore violent.”

Suicide Squad is made up of a team of villains, the concept heavily influenced by the 1960s film The Dirty Dozen. A film based around the characters is currently in development, with Sherlock Holmes producer Dan Lin on board. Expect many bodies as a result.
