During my first few days with Patapon 2, I dug the progression system. Little did I know, these mechanics would go on to become my most hated part of the game. Everything else — and I mean everything — about the quirky rhythm game rocked, in my eyes.
What I’m trying to get at is this: Sony, if you tweak just a few of these less-than-desirable aspects for the newly announced Patapon 3, I will send you love mail. The creature designs are looking as solid as ever, and the promise of 8-person online co-op and competitive multiplayer is looming over our heads.
Please, please let this be as good as it appears to be. Also, if I could find out sometime before Patapon 3‘s release this fall, that’d be grand.
