The Boston Indie Showcase winners have been announced! What’s that, you ask? If you guessed “PAX East’s way of letting Boston’s best up-and-coming studios get the attention they deserve,” then you sir are a psychic. Or you got a hold of the press release. I’d much rather it be the first one, though.
- Slam Bolt Scrappers by Fire Hose Games
- AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! by Dejobaan Games
- Dearth by MIT Gambit Game Lab
- Waker by MIT Gambit Game Lab
- Turba by Keith Morgado
- Miegakure by Marc ten Bosch
All six games will be on full display from March 26 through March 28 at the Hynes Convention Center where PAX East is set to take place. This is the first I’ve heard of Slam Bolt Scrappers, which is kind of a downer — the game certainly looks neat.
And Miegakure. Do I even need to mention Miegakure? Ever since I heard about it via the Independent Games Festival, my brain has been demanding I go seek it out. No luck on that front so far, sadly. Be sure to give these indies a look if you’re attending PAX.
