Square Enix announcement event set for January 18th

There’s a big Square Enix event set for January in Japan, and Famitsu says that they’ll announce major titles there. The Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere was set for Jan 11, but they just rescheduled it for the 18th. A drawing on Japan’s Square Enix members page will determine which members can attend the event.

The event, which will take place at Toho Cinemas in Roppongi, Tokyo, will likely be showing something big. 1UP reminds that Tetsuya Nomura told Famitsu in September that a January event could be showing Final Fantasy Versus XIII or Final Fantasy Agito XIII. They’ve listed Kingdom Hearts 3D and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy as well. The 1st Production Team makes all of these, so the chances are pretty good that we’ll hear something about at least one of them.
