Splatterhouse bashing onto mobile platforms

Do you find yourself standing on street corners, waiting for a bus, and being stricken with an insatiable urge to use your over-developed upper body to smash monsters until sprays of crimson erupt from their grotesque form? It can’t just be me.

Namco has announced that soon this all-important need will be met when they release Splatterhouse for mobile devices on November 23rd. You can see some screenshots of it below. It looks like Splatterhouse.

Gonna pass on this, myself. Splatterhouse can be frustrating enough when I have an actual joystick in my hands and buttons I can push. With Rick’s slow movement, I can see in my mind’s eye accidentally hitting the attack button at enough inopportune moments to cause my phone to leap out of my hand with great force towards the nearest wall.
