Look, you either love Harvest Moon or you haven’t played it yet. The people in the former group would most likely point towards Harvest Moon 64 in order to get the people in the latter group started on the series. It’s one of the best, and it would be great if it came to the Wii’s Virtual Console so that newcomers to the series could access it easily. However, that isn’t very likely to happen.
In a recent interview Natsume executive Graham Markay was queried about the game coming to the VC and responded, “It will not. It will not. And it’s not from lack of trying.” He explained that the code for the title is “not an easy transfer.”
Of course just when we all thought we could uncross our fingers because it just wasn’t going to happen Markay decides to leave the door open just a crack. “I shouldn’t say it’s never going to come out, but there’s just a really, really, very small chance that it would ever come out,” he noted. Damn, it’s so hard to type with my fingers crossed too.
