I thought that the whole point of an ultimatum was to make a final decision one way or another. It isn’t the sort of thing you should have to do several times. And yet, Jillian Michaels is going to repeat this behavior for a third time.
But Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2011 will be different from its predecessors in a key aspect. Developer Collision Studios has decided to implement a story mode. Check out this description from the press release we received (because I couldn’t possibly make this up):
…Jillian and the player use fitness skills and nutritional expertise in a series of missions to shut down Cureall, an evil food and drug corporation set upon world domination.
Like, I don’t even know where to begin. All I have to say is that Valve had better watch their backs. With plot lines like this being developed, their status as being narrative innovators is seriously threatened. Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2011 will release on Wii this Fall.
