It goes without saying that a game that tests your investigative and deduction powers will throw some hard puzzles your way. The Advanced Lock might seem like an impossible task at first. Thankfully, I managed to solve the puzzle with a trial-and-error approach, so I can tell you how you can unlock the door to access the rest of the house.

Enigma of Fear Advanced Lock guide

You’ll come across the lock after you enter the house. Don’t take the stairs, and go straight, and you’ll find the room with this lock. At first, you won’t be able to find a solution. You can try it out at random, but it will waste a lot of your time.

Go back to the first room and take the stairs to the second floor. There are different rooms, and some of them have locked doors. At first, you’ll notice two clocks: a grandfather clock and an alarm clock. You can change the time of the alarm clock, but it always starts ringing when set at 4 AM.

Now, use Shift to zoom in to the other clock, and take note of the symbol by 4. Use your UV light to show the hidden symbol. Next, go to the room that’s immediately left of the stairs. You’ll find details about the lock and three pages with hidden data. Use the UV Light on the page with a clock sign on top, and you’ll find that the clock shape overlaps on two symbols.

Now that you’ve your three symbols, you can crack open the Advanced Lock. For the first selection, select the Hexagon. For the next, select the circle with 14 symbols on them. This is the same circle you get at the start of your game. Third, select the triangle facing downwards, and you’ll have solved the puzzle.

Head downstairs to proceed with your adventure in Enigma of Fear. Do note that this is just my understanding of solving the puzzle. The actual reason could be different, but the solution is the same.
