Roblox is one of the biggest games in the world many adults don’t even know exists. One of Roblox’ greatest assets is its ease of use, but it might sometimes require some light tinkering to get working just right. Here’s everything you need to know to get Roblox always ready to go.
Roblox Automatic Update
Roblox begins in your browser whether you’re on PC or Mac, so head over to Roblox.com. Create an account if you don’t already have one, and sign in. You’ll be seeing something similar to the image below:
Then, you’ll need to pick a game on the home screen by clicking on its thumbnail, hit the Discovery box or, if it doesn’t show up for you, which is my case happen, use the search bar to look for a game. A good example of a game to search for is the very popular Impostor, which is the Roblox version of Among Us.
Press the green play button. If your Roblox is already updated, then it will just load right away. If not, Roblox will ask you if you’d like to open the Roblox app. Accept, and the game will update itself automatically if you’re on PC.
If you’re on Mac, you’ll need to go through a few extra steps. Clicking on the green button will download the game, and you’ll then have to go to your downloads folder and click on it to play. That should automatically update your Roblox.
Roblox manual update
It’s not impossible for the automatic update method to fail. In that case, we should be looking for an old school fix to the problem. The good news is that the manual way to upload the game is as simple as it gets. Just uninstall Roblox from your PC or Mac, go back to roblox.com, find a game, and press the green button. The site will allow you to re-download the game. The new download will come with an already updated version of the game, so this should fix all issues.
You can play Roblox on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and VR.
