Hardwood is a material in Enshrouded that is unavailable in the initial phase of the game. You can use it in the later stage of the game once you have rescued the Carpenter. To help you get this item, here is a comprehensive guide on how you can get Hardwood.
How to get Hardwood in Enshrouded
Hardwood is not something that you can craft, so you have to scavenge it. Although the rarity of Hardwood is common, you can find it anywhere but in small quantities. However, the best place that you can visit is Revelwood Forest. Why? Revelwood Forest has an abundance of hardwood, so you’ll never run out of it.
However, you have to make sure that Shroud doesn’t take your life away, as this place is toxicated with it. In case you don’t know how to tackle it, you have to upgrade your flame level. A low flame level might be lethal for you. You can also check out the place called Farmer’s Ancient Vault if you want to scavenge Hardwood.
In the forest, you can see various trees with big trunks covered with moss. You have to cut it and loot it. But make sure you have an upgraded axe, as a lower level will take more time to cut the trees. Here’s a pro tip: use a Felling Axe.
If you don’t have one, you can always go to the Blacksmith. If you don’t know where Revelwood Forest is, you have to head North from the Ancient Vault of the Alchemist.
