From Norvik, head southwest into the forest. You’ll find a clear path in the forest leading you further west, you can even see this pathway on the world map. Continue heading west until you find a giant tree poking out from the forest, this is Faerie Village.

While the village is gorgeous, the faeries here hold extreme contempt for humans and refuse to speak with you. One of the few people you can hold a conversation with is the old man near the pond at the center of the village. He will tell you why Norvik’s people have been cursed with eternal slumber.

To convince, the Faerie Queen to lift the curse on Norvik, you’ll need to find her daughter. Start by leaving Faerie Village and going southwest to find the Underground Lake.

The cave may seem daunting, but it’s not nearly as confusing as other dungeons. Head inside and start heading south towards the multiple paths.

The two paths that move towards the east side of the map are connected and lead to another area before sending you back to the first floor of the Underground Lake. However, it’s worth taking this path to find a friendly monster and a chest containing the Cloak of Evasion, which is a nifty piece of equipment that increases the evasion rate for the wearer.

When you’re ready to move on to the second floor, head back to the first floor of the Underground Lake. Now, go down the southwest path to reach the next floor.

On the second floor, if you follow the winding path near the entrance, you’ll reach an altar. Stepping into the center of the altar will completely restore the HP and MP of your party. The only catch is that the altar won’t revive dead party members.

Once you’re all healed up, you can find some loot in the northern part of this floor. In the northeast corner you’ll find a chest containing a Care Riviere, an accessory that prevents the user from being silenced. Meanwhile, the northwest side has a chest containing an iron lance.

To continue to the third floor, enter the path to the southwest. The third floor is pretty big and full of loot, so it’s worth exploring here.

If you head through the path to the north to enter a room leading to a chest. Inside the chest you’ll find a Steel Broadsword, a weapon worth picking up if you’re lacking in firepower. Entering the path in the south part of the room will take you to the fourth floor.

On the fourth path, simply follow the path to find a box containing the Dreamstone and a note from the Faerie Princess. After that, use a Chimaera Wing or the Zoom spell to teleport back to Faerie Village.

In Faerie Village, enter the giant building in the northmost part of the village. The Queen will take the Dreamstone and offer you the Wakey Dust in exchange.

With Wakey Dust in hand, head back into Norvik and you’ll be given the option to use the dust to free the villagers from their curse. Now with all the villagers awake, you’re free to use the Inn and check out the shops here.
