Monopoly GO’s Swap Packs are on their way. These packs are unique and may very well become one of the most useful additions to the game. You won’t have to worry as much about obtaining duplicate stickers, and you can pinpoint what cards you want.

What are Swap Packs in Monopoly GO?

Swap Packs are high-tier card packs with three, four, and five-star stickers. You have a chance to get new stickers, but you can also obtain duplicates. However, you can also swap up to three duplicate stickers with new ones, giving you up to three opportunities to advance and complete your album sets.

In short, they’re different versions of Wild Stickers, in a way. Although Wild Stickers give you a free new card of your choice, Swap packs let you switch your duplicates for potential new ones. It may reduce community trading but will help you quickly finish your album and prestige sets.

Below are the exact steps to redeeming these packs:

1. Obtain and open your Swap Pack.
2. Swap up to three stickers with three new ones of your choice.
3. Collect your stickers.

You can also use Sticker Boom to get more stickers, much like you would with a regular pack.

The caveat? These will be rare packs. Although Scopely hasn’t revealed the exact rarity yet, we suspect it’ll appear as often as Wild Stickers. There’s even a chance it’ll pop up less frequently.

There’s also a chance these new stickers won’t be entirely your choice. With Wild Stickers, you can scroll through your sets and see what cards you need to complete each. Swap Packs might have a similar mechanic, but you may also see a random selection from the game instead. Since the packs are only available for some players currently, finding this out is only a matter of time.
