When a Sim loses someone, their Grief Type will determine how they handle the loss of their loved one. They can be angry, deny the loss, or become depressed, depending on their grief trait. Typically, this type is determined by their existing traits and their relationship with the deceased.

But, with cheats, your Sim can grieve however youā€™d like them to. These cheats also allow you to be promoted and reach the top of the two new careers, Mortician and Reaper, and max out your Thanatology skill in an instant to get the most out of Life and Death.

How to use cheats in The Sims 4

To enter these cheats, hit Shift + CTRL + C on a PC, Command + Shift + C on a Mac, or all four shoulder buttons on a console. This will bring up the cheat console.

From there, just type in the cheat youā€™d like to use and hit enter. Your cheat will then be active.
