How to Get the Sea Mine in Fisch Roblox – Location & Best Method

It's all cool and well until you catch a live one...

If you’re used to catching a Mythical rarity fish every 20-30 tries, as is the case at Roslit Bay or the Deep Ocean, then you’ll hate the Desolate Deep. Even getting a Legendary is hard. Still, there is one “fish” you can catch with almost no effort. Here is all you need to know about how to get a Sea Mine in Fisch Roblox.

How to Catch the Sea Mine in Fisch Roblox

Since the Sea Mine is one of the few things in Fisch that you can catch only by using a Crab Cage, regular fishing with a rod is out of the question. It’s also extremely rare, and you’ll probably get one every 300-400 cages. Fortunately, there are spots in the Desolate Deep where you can place that many cages.

First off, if you haven’t done so already, make way to the Desolate Pocket and buy 200-300 Crab Cages at the market on the island in the middle. Since each cage costs C$45, this will require C$9,000-13,500.

Then, you’re going to start placing Crab Cages at the locations we outlined in the list below. To place them as quickly as possible, ShiftLock your camera, move sideways, and spam LMB (tap on mobile). If you tap quickly enough, the Crab Cages should end up overlapping, allowing you to place more cages than seemingly possible. Also, make sure to avoid the sea mines while swimming, as they’ll instantly kill you.

  • Center Island (-1520, -235, -2880): As you go down the ladder from the merchant, there are several sections of the island you can use to place cages along the coast.
  • Red Container Area (-1260, -235, -2960): Just to the right of the tunnel that you used to enter the Desolate Pocket. The whole underwater platform can be used to place Crab Cages (the best spot for farming Sea Mines in Fisch). You can also use a bit of space to the left of the platform.
  • Phantom Ray Abundance Spot (-1705, -235, -3075): There is a long coast you can use for the cages close to the Phantom Ray radar spot. It’s right underneath the caves that lead to the Brine Pool and the Aurora Totem.

If you spam LMB while placing them, the areas we listed above can easily accommodate 500-600 cages, which should be more than enough to catch a Sea Mine. You can also use the pool at the secret merchant area (Reinforced Rod location), but it’s really small.

How to Increase Luck and Catch the Sea Mine Faster in Fisch Roblox

Since Sea Mines are a Crab Cage-only catch, there is only one thing you can do to get them quicker: buy the Luck Boost from Merlin (-930, 225, -990) at Sunstone Island for C$5,000. There is a mirror portal on the main island in the Desolate Pocket you can use to teleport to Sunstone Island quickly. Note that leaving the game will deactivate the boost.
