How to get Ray Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Ray Gun is a wonderful Wonder Weapon to wield in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies, and it can be used to do a lot of damage on the undead.

The Ray Gun first made its appearance in the Call of Duty: World at War, and it has always had a special place in my heart. You can find out in both Terminus and Liberty Falls, and the process of obtaining it is slightly different based on the map of your preference. Let’s take a look at how you can get this Wonder Weapon in your battle against the undead.

So far, in my playthroughs, I have found two proper methods to get the Ray Gun. Both methods have elements of luck associated with them, so don’t be frustrated if you don’t find this specific weapon. In fact, the second method will have a high chance of getting you a Wonder Weapon, even if it’s the Jet Gun or the Beamsmasher.

• Mystery Boxes: Mystery boxes are exciting ways to try and find a Wonder Weapon, including a Ray Gun. Every draw costs 950 Essence, so you can give it a fair few tries throughout a game. The main issue with this method is the utterly random nature of the draw. Standard weapons are also present along with the Wonder Weapons, although they tend to have better rarities.
• Loot Keys: Whenever you defeat elite enemies like Manglers, plenty of things will drop on the ground. Make sure to be on the lookout for items highlighted in pink, as they often tend to be loot keys. These keys can be used to open Safety Deposit Boxes inside the vault in Liberty Falls or the Armory in Terminus. Once again, the payout will be purely random.

Additionally, a new Easter egg is available in Liberty Falls, which has the Ray Gun associated with it. However, I have yet to figure out if the Ray Gun reward is random or definite. Knowing how powerful Wonder Weapons are in general, I will expect it to be random.

You can also use certain GobbleGums to increase your chances of getting the Ray Gun. Immolation Liquidation immediately activates Fire Sale, which reduces the cost of a Mystery Box to only ten essences. Then, there’s Respin Cycle, which allows you to respin your draw if you’re not satisfied with it. Finally, The Wonderbar! guarantees a Wonder Weapon in the next draw, which massively improves your chances of finding the Ray Gun in Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
