Three bullets for the price of one.

The first marksman rifle you will have access to in Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the Swat 5.56 can be considered an extremely solid pick given its lethality from mid-range and all-rounder approach.

But like all weapons part of the game’s arsenal, the rifle’s true colors can only be showcased by pairing it with the right modifications and equipment. Here’s the best loadout for the Swat 5.56 in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and B06 Zombies.

Best Swat 5.56 Loadout in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

As the weapon specializes in performing precise bursts while aiming down sight, the first attachments we will add to the 5.56 will be the Muzzle Brake and the Precision Foregrip under barrel, which will mitigate its recoil for sequential bursts. We will then go with the Reinforced Barrel for a welcome increase in range and firepower. This is a must, as it will significantly boost the gun’s performance at longer distances while also increasing its overall damage.

To make the transition to ADS smother, we will also be going with the Cammando Grip and the Light Stock for a boost in handling and mobility with no drawback. Once your Swat 5.56 is equipped with all of the above, it will look like the one below.

To recap, you can check out the best attachments the Swat 5.56 in Black Ops 6, as well as how to get each of them below. If you are just starting, we also added low-level alternatives for all high-level picks.

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 33) / Alternative: Compensator (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 22)
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 36) / Alternative: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 24) / Alternative: Lightweight Foregrip
  • Read Grip: Commando Grip (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 24) / Using the Ergonomic Grip (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 46) can also work
  • Stock: Light Stock (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 7)

With the gun itself taken care of, all of the best perks and equipment for the Swat 5.56 will be focused on further boosting your mobility and ability to spot targets when carrying it. Here are the best equipment and perks for the Swat 5.56 in BO6:

  • Tactical: Stim Shot (A must, it will allow you to heal and refresh your tactical sprint)
  • Lethal: Molotov (A great tool for dealing damage and either stopping or locking hostiles in place)
  • Field Upgrade: War Cry (Will boost the health regeneration and speed of nearby allies)
  • Perk #1: Ghost (Will make you undetectable unless you are engaging or sprinting)
  • Perk #2: Forward Intel (Will boost your minimap size and direct you toward revealed hostiles)

Best BO6 Zombies Swat 5.56 Loadout

As you can see above and given the extra attachment slots available for Zombies, the best Swat 5.56 build for the mode will feature the Suppressor in place of the Muzzle Brake. I know the loss in recoil will be significant, but it will be worth it for its boost in savage collection.

So that you can easily deal with the swarms in the latter rounds, we will also be adding the Tactical Laser and the 5.56 Nato Overpressured fire mod to the mix, which will boost your damage and allow you to enter tac-stance. Adding an Optic attachment is also recommended for as long as your pick does not negatively affect your stats. Here’s a recap of the best attachments for the Swat 5.56 in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies:

  • Optic: OM3 ’92 Holo
  • Muzzle: Suppressor / Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Reinforced Barrel / Alternative: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip / Alternative: Lightweight Foregrip
  • Read Grip: Commando Grip
  • Stock: Light Stock
  • Laser: Tactical Laser (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 21)
  • Fire Mods: 5.56 Nato Overpressured (Unlocked by raising the weapon to level 16)

To close off the loadout, I recommend going with either Energy Mine or Healing Aura as your Field Upgrade. For the Tactical and Lethal picks, go with the Stim Shot for survivability and either the Impact Granade or the Molotov for crowd control.
