Art is sacred

If you want to impress Amanda in Chapter 1 of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, you’ll need to learn what she likes. While investigating the Snapping Turtle to find talking points, you can choose to fix the wrongs of an ill-thought-out college prank.

To begin this optional task, head over to the right side of the stage and look at the note from Amanda, which says “To the assholes who keep flipping the paintings: STOP MESSING WITH OTHER PEOPLES ART!”.

Clearly, Amanda is passionate about art, which bodes well for any hopes of future romance between her and Max, but for now, the least you can do is flip over all of the upside-down paintings around the Snapping Turtle. There’s also an achievement available for completing this task, if you’re a completionist.

There are a total of three paintings that have been flipped and if you flip all of them, Amanda will be grateful.

Flipped painting #1 – Native Artist Spotlight

The first of the three paintings is remarkably easy to find. It’s the middle one of the three paintings directly above Amanda’s note. Look at the painting and then select the “Fix” option to turn it over and rehang it in the correct orientation.

Flipped painting #2 – College Art

To find the second painting, turn 180° from the first painting and make your way toward the fireplace on the opposite wall. Head to the wall that’s decorated with a mural of a pirate and her cat, and you’ll find the second painting hanging to the right of the cat. It’s a collage of words, and they definitely aren’t supposed to be upside-down.

Flipped painting #3 – Robot Painting

The third misaligned painting is found near the bathrooms, which you can reach by crossing towards the bar and then turning left. The painting, depicting a robot relaxing among flowers, can be found on the wall to the right of the doorway towards the bathrooms, and you’ll have to walk between the two people sitting in front of it before you can flip it over.
