A primary gameplay element in Once Human is building a base. Whether you want the bare minimum needed to progress in the game or you like to spend hours creating elaborate structures, youāll eventually need a boatload of Sintered Bricks. This guide will make getting your hands on them as quick and easy as possible.
Uses for Sintered Bricks in Once Human
After wood comes stone, and youāll make hundreds of Sintered Bricks to upgrade your base to stone, marble, and concrete in Once Human. Currently, concrete is the highest tier of structure you can build and provides the greatest defense against enemy attacks.
Unlocking Sintered Bricks
Sintered Bricks are a crafted item in Once Human, earned by unlocking Forging Techniques in the third level of your Memetics’ Infrastructure tree. Forging Techniques only costs three Ciphers and 200 Energy Links to unlock and, using a standard Furnace, each Sintered Brick requires three Charcoal and ten Gravel to make. If youāve progressed to an Electric Furnace, thereās no Charcoal requirement, but youāll need 5W of power.
Gravel and Charcoal are two of the easiest crafting components to obtain, though youāll need a Furnace to make Charcoal. Youāll find Gravel by mining any ore deposit, and Charcoal is created by burning Logs.
The best way to get gravel, however, is by mining normal rock ores. You’ll also want to use an Electric Drill at the very least, unlocked in tier four of the Infrastructure memetics branch. For best results, however, use an Advanced Electric Rock Drill.
Now youāll be able to build a fortress that can better withstand the encroachment of Deviants in Once Human, particularly during Territory Purification, and itāll look good too.
