A fan account on X (@DailyTBATE) translated the message to English:
“Dear viewers in Japan,

I am grateful to announce that The Beginning After the End is being adapted into an anime, a milestone made possible by your incredible support. Having grown up reading manga, itā€™s an honor to have my story recognized in the birthplace of anime and manga, one of my first influences in writing.

Iā€™d like to thank Studio A-Cat for their hard work in adapting the story into an animation and Crunchyroll for making this all happen. Working with them has been a pleasure to bring this story to life in a new form.

My sincerest gratitude for your generous support and for celebrating this milestone with me!”

For the uninitiated, The Beginning After the End follows the story of Arthur Leywin, a once-powerful king reborn into a world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and danger at every turn. Previously known as King Grey, Arthur retains the memories and wisdom of his past life. This gives him a unique perspective as he grows from infancy in his new world.

However, this second chance at life comes with its own challenges. As Arthur masters powerful magic, encounters fierce enemies, and uncovers the secrets of his reincarnation, he must protect those he loves and navigate a destiny that threatens to reshape the world of Dicathen.

While waiting for the 2025 anime release, both the TBATE web novel and webcomic are available on Tapas.
