Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 pre-load date and time

According to the Call of Duty Blog, pre-loads for Black Ops 6 begin on Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET. This date applies to all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Black Ops 6 pre-loads offer Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies content, getting you ready for the Day One launch. You’ll definitely need a large chunk of space to download it

How many GB is Black Ops 6 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation?

You can anticipate the following download sizes for the Black Ops 6 pre-load:

  • PC: 148 available space (78 GB if COD HQ’s already downloaded)
  • PlayStation: 51.27 GB
  • Xbox: 112 GB

The patch will also install the new COD HQ look, re-organizing the layout of the UI. It’ll include Black Ops 6 content while keeping other files like Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

The exact timing of Xbox, PlayStation, and PC Microsoft launches vary, but it should remain the same for Battle.net and Steam users. This also includes Xbox Game Pass users, who will have access to BO6 on Day One.

If you pre-order the game, you’ll receive the exclusive Woods Operator Pack, providing unique skins for Frank Woods. Vault Edition owners also acquire various rewards, such as the Hunters vs. Hunted Operator Pack, Mastercraft Weapon Collection, GobbleGum Pack, and Season 1 Black Cell. Xbox Game Pass players can upgrade to the Vault edition to claim these valuables, costing $30.
