The Martial World’s Undead Apocalypse takes the zombie virus into ancient times. It mixes martial arts themes with zombie horror, which results in a suspenseful read. Furthermore, the Sigwi, the undead in this manhwa, aren’t the typical zombies. They can utilize martial arts, and the many strong ones even possess regenerative abilities.

The story revolves around Chungsoo of the Hwasan Sect. He’s a mischievous boy who has a tendency to do things his way. But when his antics have led to the destruction of the sect’s treasured library, he is sent into three years of solitary confinement. The moment he emerges from his punishment, the martial world is already taken over by the Sigwi.
