Does Throne and Liberty have a Bot Problem?

Throne and Liberty has sort of become the next game to have the whole bot problem discussion around it. Farming for XP, money, and materials can be a slog. Without an auto attack on PC, many players have found other means of adding that feature into this game.

Have you ever run into players in MMORPGs who are just farming the same monsters, materials, and other things in an overworld for hours with no interaction? Their actions are the same, and it’s pretty obvious they’re botting.

Does Throne and Liberty have bots?

In short, yes, people are botting in Throne and Liberty. People are using scripts and programs outside of the game to essentially farm up trading materials that are favored in the Auction House. 

Since the whole auto-attack function has been removed from the game since its beta days, players who may not be available have resorted to using these methods to get the best things in the game. 

This is a bannable offense and can sometimes be detected by the anti-cheat currently in place. Many still get through.

Is there a bot problem in Throne and Liberty?

According to the community at large, this has become a problem. The obvious botting has disrupted the experience for many who want to go out to several areas of the game to farm. 

The Subreddit for Throne and Liberty is riddled with people complaining about bots in every server. There are so many screenshots and clips of people running into groups of bots farming the same mobs and materials in multiple areas. 

Throne and Liberty is a very grindy game. With players who can essentially bot and have their games running for days on end, this puts players who don’t opt for this kind of farming method at a disadvantage. This becomes even more apparent because there is a PvP mode. 

With a trading economy already set, bots are essentially tanking it, making it harder for players to make it worth their time grinding expensive items when they’re being botted at ridiculous rates.
