Sparking Zero Dragon Ball Wish guide: How to summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron

State your wish!

The beloved Dragon Ball series began with Goku and Bulma’s quest to summon the mighty Shenron for a wish. Since then, these wishes have evolved, bringing out Planet Namek’s Porunga and the latest Super Shenron.

Each legendary creature takes the stage in Sparking Zero, offering various rewards after collecting seven Dragon Balls. But, given that it’s a reasonably complex system, we’ll show you how to summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron.

Sparking Zero Shenron Dragon Ball Wishes guide

The seven Dragon Balls for Shenron are, by far, the easiest to collect. Thanks to their increased spawn rate, you’ll get them as a reward a lot more frequently than Porunga and Super Shenron. Here are a few ways you can earn them in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero:

How to get Shenron Dragon Balls

  • Whis’s Stamp Book:
    • Achieve Victory in Goku’s Saga 10 times
    • Complete a Battle Training session five times
    • Perform Ultimate Blast 10 times
    • Play Offline battle three times
    • Edit a Player Card one time
    • Clear a Bonus Battle one time
    • Create a battle in Custom Battle one time
  • Offline Battles
  • Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition Season Pass
  • Offline Tournaments

Those who purchased the Deluxe Edition get Dragon Balls from Shenron instantly, paving the way for a great start. You can also get familiar with Sparking Zero’s combat in Battle Training, earning you another artifact.

Complete tasks in Whis’s Stamp Book via the Challenges & Missions hub for more Dragon Balls. They’ll be easy to knock out if you focus on Goku’s Saga. However, it should be noted that Zen-Oh’s Orders (the other Challenges & Missions hub) does not provide Dragon Balls. While this section does have rewards associated with them, it only pertains to titles and not the actual item.

Once you’ve used up these methods, focus on Offline battling. It’ll be the main way to farm for Shenron’s wishes as you fight against CPU characters. As a result, you can use all seven Dragon Balls to unlock the following wishes (only one at a time):

All Shenron Wishes in Sparking Zero

  • I want more Zeni: Earn 300,000 Zeni
  • I want you to raise my Player Level: Raise your level to earn more content in the shop
  • I want more titles: Earn unique titles for your Player Cards, like King, King of the World, and Delightful Lover
  • I want new outfits: Collect clothing for customizable characters, including Yamcha, Goku (Super), Master Roshi, and Vegeta (Super) Outfits
  • I want to complete an Episode Battle: Get the Dragon Orb

Sparking Zero Porunga Dragon Ball Wishes guide

Unlike Shenron, Porunga offers three wishes for you to choose from, giving you more bang for your buck. However, the chances of getting Dragon Balls for this creature are pretty slim. Story missions don’t seem to provide this resource, nor does Online battling. What does seem to work, though, are these two methods:

How to get Porunga Dragon Balls

  • Offline World Tournaments
  • Offline Battles

The offline battles (P1 vs. CPU) are among the best ways to get Porunga’s Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero. Although the chances are still low, it proves much better than the Offline World Tournaments. Fortunately, there are a few ways to make the grind go by faster with a specific set of rules.

When setting up a battle, some players suggest utilizing the World Tournament (No Crowd) setting and activating the Out-of-Bounds Rules. Then, you can select a robust character like Gogeta (Super) or Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct and put them against weaker characters. Mr. Satan is a pretty good opponent to pick since he’s not the greatest of fighters (sorry, Hercule).

The battles will last for a minute or even a few seconds through this strategy, making the grind a lot less tedious. I just kept repeatedly playing these fights, which eventually got me a Porunga Dragon Ball. It’ll still take a while to do, so keep at it until you’ve earned all seven for the wishes.

All Porunga Wishes in Sparking Zero

  • I want more Zeni: Get 120,000 Zenni
  • I want you to raise my Player Level: Raises your rank substantially
  • I want more titles: Obtain more titles for Player Card
  • I want ability items: Acquire buffs such as Guard Master and Mirage

Sparking Zero Super Shenron Dragon Ball Wishes guide

Super Shenron’s Dragon Balls are primarily tied to the Episode Battles, meaning the story campaign. Here are a few ways you can earn them in Sparking Zero:

How to get Super Shenron Dragon Balls

  • Complete Goku’s Saga
  • Complete Future Trunk’s What If stories
  • Ultimate Edition Bonus

To get a Super Shenron instantly, purchase Sparking Zero’s Ultimate Edition. It’ll give you one Dragon Ball set for this, allowing you to make a wish straight away.

After completing Goku’s Saga, you’ll collect Super Shenron’s Dragon Balls for your efforts. You can stick with the canon storyline to earn this, ending with the Goku’s Strength chapter. Super Trunks’ narrative also offers the Dragon Balls, but you must complete his What If? (alternate paths) scenarios this time. I’m still working my way through the story, so there may be other character Episode Battles that provide Dragon Balls.

Now that we’ve dug into how to get Super Shenron’s seven Dragon Balls, let’s dive into what wishes it offers:

All Super Shenron Wishes in Sparking Zero

  • I want more characters: Get Goku Black or Fused Zamasu
  • I want more Zeni: Acquire 1,000,000 Zeni
  • I want to raise my Player Level: Take your Player Level to new heights
  • I want new outfits: Get items like Yamcha, Goku (Super), Vegeta (Super), and Master Roshi Outfits
  • I want ability items: Earn more buffs, including Water’s Blessing, Broly’s Ring, and Miracle Master
  • I want more titles: Collect titles, such as ‘Get Out of Here. That’s My Only Wish’ or ‘World Domination.’

The Dragon Balls you’ve collected will disappear whenever you’ve made a wish. That means you must try out another method or grind through Offline battles (except for Super Shenron) for more artifacts.
