To pick up the Mobbing Mothulas side quest, head to Faron Wetlands and find the Deku Scrub who is cowering under the earth. It can be found in the location marked on the map above.

When you’ve found the correct Deku Scrub, you’ll need to use the Bind ability to latch onto it and pluck it from the earth.

This Deku Scrub is utterly terrified of some Mothulas that are causing a stir in the southeastern corner of the Faron Wetlands. To complete this quest, you need to head to the location marked on the map below, and take out three Mothulas.

There are two regular Mothulas and a Mothula Lv. 2 to be taken out, and you have a couple of options for how to do it. You can, if you have the energy, enter into Swordfighter Form and use the Mighty Bow to deal ranged attacks. Or, if you either lack energy or simply want to preserve it for other uses, you can summon a strong Echo with ranged attacks.

Wizzrobes of any type are a good choice, as they’re able to match the height of the Mothulas and deal a lot of damage. Boomerang Boarblin (regular or Lv. 2) are also a good choice as they can aim at enemies higher than themselves.

Once you’ve taken out the Mothulas, return to the submerged Deku Scrub and use the Bind ability to pluck it out of the ground again. In return for removing the Mothula threat, you’ll receive a Might Crystal
