How to reset Stats and respec in Throne and Liberty

Throne and Liberty has multiple layers to its stats and power system, ranging from general stat points to weapon skills and mastery ranks. Fortunately, these all have respec methods, allowing you to fine-tune your build as you level up and unlock new equipment.

How to reset stat points in Throne and Liberty

You can reset your stat points free of charge by heading into your character profile and selecting “Reset Stats” at the bottom left corner of your screen. It’ll ask you to confirm your selection, and upon accepting, your points will become available again to redistribute between strength, dexterity, wisdom, and perception.

During Throne and Liberty’s initial beta tests, you needed specific items to respec your stat points, giving you greater incentive to carefully consider where to allocate them. Following the game’s official launch, this is no longer a requirement, so you’re free to reset them as much as you wish for now.

How to respec skills and mastery points in Throne and Liberty

You can also reset your skill specialization and weapon mastery alongside your regular stat points. Resetting your skills requires heading into the Skill Specialization menu and pressing the two arrows next to your remaining points.

Unlike the previous option, the game won’t ask you to confirm your selection. Instead, it’ll just refund all of your specialization points, allowing you to redistribute them as needed.

Similarly, you can refund your weapon mastery skills by hovering over an active node and selecting the arrow next to it. For a Sollant fee, you can deactivate the effect and any connected to its right, giving you your mastery points back to spend elsewhere.

How to swap skill points in Throne and Liberty

Another way to modify your build is to transfer skill levels between each other using Skill Conversion books. You can use Skill Conversion books by selecting a spell in your skills menu, opening the skill growth menu, and switching to Swap.

By selecting two abilities and consuming a conversion book, any levels in one spell will transfer to the other and vice versa. This is particularly helpful if you’re trying out a new weapon and want to conserve your skill growth books.
