All Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event challenges and rewards in MW3 and Warzone

The ultimate Halloween extravaganza has begun in Call of Duty, bringing a sweet side to MW3 and Warzone. You’ll collect Candy through various modes, getting you a step closer to an exclusive Operator skin. Free skins are incredibly rare to see, so it’s best to get them while you can.

Here’s everything you need to know about MW3 and Warzone’s Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event, including challenges and rewards.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event guide

Whether you’re on MW3 Multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies, you’ll notice Candy dropped from enemy Operators. Pick them up to gradually fill the meters across the event’s various sections. Track how much Candy you’ve earned from each match via the left side of your screen. If you want to earn Candy fast, I suggest playing Zombies mode for easy farming.

The Event hub presents five sections for you to fill up. You’ll need to complete the first one to unlock the following tier, then continue on with the rest afterward. However, the King Sized Treat jar proves the most challenging, as it requires the most Candy out of all of them. Trick R Treat rewards are somewhat of a mystery. You’ll either earn a Treat or Trick gift, but I haven’t seen what this actually entails. I tried to see what would happen when I earned a Treat reward and didn’t see anything new in my inventory. It could just be a simple achievement to help move along your progress.

The main thing you need to shoot for is the Blood Red Riding Hood Operator skin, which costs a whopping 1,000,000 Candies. That’ll undoubtedly take you a while to accomplish with its substantial amount. On the bright side, you can earn additional Candy using the Sam or Sam Unmasked Operator Skins. Purchase this bundle for 2,400 COD Points, translating to $19.99.

Fortunately, anything you’ve earned from the previous sections counts toward the King Sized Treat. The skin changes the appearance of the Banshee Operator, giving it that classic red riding hood look. Be sure to earn it before the Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Trick r’ Treat: Candy Hunt event ends on Oct. 16, 2024. Don’t let this opportunity slip away!
