How to get Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4

Mythic Uniques are the new tier of item rarity in Diablo 4. They’re considered some of the best loot in the game but are very hard to get. People have put hundreds of hours into the game and have still yet to see one.

That being said, here’s what to know about the new tier of Unique items.

How to get Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4

You can get Mythic Uniques in Diablo 4 in most areas of the game after reaching level 55 and onward. At this point, you’re already in World Tier 3 and up. The item rarity is extremely rare, so just look out for any purple glowing drops.

The following sources are where you can find Mythic Uniques:

• World drops
• Ladder bosses
• Nightmare Dungeons
• Helltides
• Tree of Whispers
• The Alchemist

These will all be places you frequent often as you transition into the endgame, so keep on playing until you hopefully come across one. However, these can be target-farmed.

The best Mythic Unique farm

If you want to increase your chances of getting Mythic Unique items in Diablo 4, you will have to farm Nightmare Dungeons and Tormented Ladder bosses.

Nightmare Dungeons have higher drop chances when going through them and completing them. The higher the tier, the better. Chances are still low but still higher than world drops.

The best place of them all has to be the Tormented ladder bosses, though. Namely, Duriel and Andariel. They’ll appear at level 200 but drop three times the loot with a greatly increased chance to drop one of seven different Mythics.

If you do not get the one you want, you can always break it down to obtain a Resplendent Spark. If you get four of these, you can take them to an Alchemist to create the Unique you want.

What is the difference between a Mythic Unique and a regular Unique?

Since both items have “unique” as part of their rarity, they will come with predetermined stats. What a Mythic Unique has over others is that they are more universally applicable to most endgame builds.

For example, the Harlequin Crest gives you a bunch of HP, armor, damage reduction, ability cooldown, and +4 to all your skills. It’s the best item in the game, and with the +4 alone, it can easily replace anything you have for your helmet slot.

Don’t write other uniques off, though. They can be applicable but are more catered to specific builds. The Mythics just have more flexibility.
