What to do after beating the final boss in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Too bad the stairs are walled off.

If you have finally gotten through Shadow of the Erdtree, including the final boss, Promised Consort Radahn, you may be confused about what to do after beating him. Things just sort of end abruptly without an obvious place to go, so here’s what to do.

What to do after beating Promised Consort Radahn in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

First off, after beating Radahn, you’ll get his Remembrance which you can bring back to the Finger Reader for one of his swords or the Light of Miquella incantation. Next, you’ll notice two items you can pick up right next to the newly discovered Site of Grace.

One item will be the “Let Us Go Together” gesture, while the other one will be something to interact with. Upon interacting with this Memory, you’ll receive an additional cutscene regarding Miquella. This won’t conclude the DLC or anything, but you will receive the Circlet of Light headpiece for your character.

Aside from some lore and items, that’s all to the end of Shadow of the Erdtree. You can still explore freely and fight any side bosses you may have skipped or missed out on.

Any NPCs like Needle Knight Leda, Dryleaf Dane, Thiollier, Moore, and others will have their quests concluded. Anyone who was a part of that brawl right before the fight with Radahn can no longer have their quests progress further.

All that being said, Shadow of the Erdtree is a DLC, so all the important things you have left regarding this playthrough are to get any missing items you want to bring into your next. Go farm, do PvP, level up, and get new gear before reaching one of the many endings in the base game.

Lastly, if you’re looking to play on the same character, you may want to at least discover the full map of the Shadow Realm. When you get to the next iteration of New Game Plus, you can more easily navigate the area and make different choices regarding the NPCs and dialogue options.
