The official website for Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions has just unveiled the main promotional video for the show’s highly anticipated second season. The trailer gives fans a glimpse of the exciting new season set to premiere on October 7, 2024.
In addition to the familiar characters, the trailer introduces the season’s opening theme song, āFeedback o Narashiteā (Playing Feedback), performed by the Japanese rock band Humbreaders. Fans can also look forward to the ending theme, “Labyrinth,” performed by the band hockrockb.
According to Anime News Network, Season 2 will see the return of Yohei Azakami as the voice of Ron Kamonohashi, while Yoshitsugu Matsuoka reprises his role as the antagonist, Mylo Moriarty. Returning staff members include Shota Ihata, who is the director at studio DiomedƩa, and Wataru Watari, who oversees the series composition. Masakazu Ishikawa continues to handle character design, and Yo Tsuji returns to compose the soundtrack.
The first season of the anime aired from October to December 2023, with 13 episodes. The first season is available on Crunchyroll.
Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions is based on Akira Amanoās manga of the same name. It follows the adventures of the eccentric detective Ron Kamonohashi and his good-natured but somewhat clueless partner, police detective Totomaru Ishiki.
