There are a lot of resources in Fields of Mistria, and a lot (though definitely not all) of items can be purchased from one of the various vendors. The General Store is a great first place to look if you’re hunting for something.
There are two types of stock at the General Store, permanent and seasonal. Permanent stock includes furniture, tools, and ingredients, while seasonal stock is all of the seeds that you can use to grow crops on the Farm.
The stock displayed at the beginning of a playthrough is not the full list of items which can be purchased, as further stock is added after you upgrade the General Store as part of the main story quest “Repair the General Store”.
Permanent stock at the General Store in Fields of Mistria
Before you upgrade the Store, there are still a lot of items which can be purchased there. It’s where you’ll need to go to get basic tools, and the first seeds you need to start your farming business.
Ingredients
Ingredients are permanently in stock at the General Store regardless of the season. You’ll only really need to purchase these ingredients prior to repairing the Mill as part of the main story quests, but it’s still handy to be able to go back and get them if you’re running low on resources or are out of season to grow them.

Flour | 200 Tesserae |
Rice | 200 Tesserae |

If you’re looking for your first tools, or have made the mistake of thinking that your Shipping Bin is a storage chest like I did during my first playthrough, you can get them from the General Store. Again, these are always in stock and have no seasonal limitations.
Note: You get the Worn Axe, Worn Pickaxe, and Worn Bug Net through completing quests. These currently cannot be purchased back if you accidentally sell them, so make sure to keep them close to you at all times.

There are limited pieces of furniture available to purchase from many vendors, including the General Store, but most decorative items are crafted after unlocking the recipes. Regardless of the season, you can always purchase the following items at the General Store.

- Fall Crop Sign Scroll Bundle (500 Tesserae)
- Winter Crop Sign Scroll Bundle (500 Tesserae)
Seasonal stock at the General Store in Fields of Mistria
