Monopoly GO: How to get free Beach Racers flags

Don't get too much sand in your car.

It’s time to race again as we begin Monopoly GO’s third Tycoon Racers event, Beach Racers. Like previous versions, you’ll collect flags and use them to drive around a racetrack against others. You’ll need as many flags as possible to win first place and get another Wild Sticker.

How to get Beach Racers flags in Monopoly GO

Like Monopoly GO’s Partners events, you’ll mainly obtain flags by participating in banner events and tournaments. You’ll also gain some by completing your daily Quick Win objectives, redeeming free store gift boxes, and picking them up around your Monopoly board.

In short, below is every method you can use to get free Beach Racers flags:

  • Finish reward tiers in banner events and tournaments.
  • Land on flags around your Monopoly board.
  • Complete daily Quick Win tasks.
  • Redeem free shop gifts.
  • Complete laps around the Beach Racers race track.

Unlike Partners events, you have one more way to obtain flags: completing laps around the event’s race track. As you complete lap milestones, you’ll open treasure boxes containing rewards like dice, cash, powerups, and flags. You can choose between multiple prizes, allowing you to pick flags if you wish.

Participating in other events and tournaments is the best way to get Beach Racers flags. One two-day event can give you over 2,000 flags if you finish every reward tier, making it a fantastic way to stockpile some during your first race.

You’ll also find prizes like five-star sticker packs, tens of thousands of dice, and exclusive cosmetics. Making a Splash and the Stream Sprint tournament are both good examples to start, but you’ll find more as the races continue.

Flag pickups

Another great way to get flags, especially if you have a lot of dice, is by picking them up along your Monopoly GO board. Much like pickup tokens, they’ll spawn on random spaces and replenish themselves infinitely, allowing you to grab as many as your dice supply can handle. It’s easy to drain your dice to zero while doing this, though, so be careful.

Daily Quick Win objectives are another way to get Beach Racers flags, weekly prizes, and some quick cash for your landmark upgrades. They usually range from rolling several times to completing bank heists. They reset at 9 a.m. ET daily, so check your list and complete everything before then.

Free store gifts are the way to go if you just need a few more flags to catch up to your opponents. They refresh every eight hours and give around 60 flags, making them small but still significant prizes to claim. You’ll have to rely on other methods if you’re looking to win Beach Racers, but when every point counts, this can make a difference.

Beach Racers milestone prize

The last method to obtaining Beach Racers flags is completing lap milestones when the race begins. Traffic lights will activate as you race around the track, showing how many laps you’ve finished. You’ll unlock chests containing dice, flags, cash, and other prizes as you reach milestones. Although you’ll initially need some to get to this point, you can at least replenish your supply slightly if you choose flags as your prize option.

Currently, there are no Beach Racers flags available as free reward links. While Monopoly GO regularly releases plenty of dice links to keep your reserves full, it’s rare to see them for Partners, Peg-E, or Racers events. We’ll be sure to update this section with more details if one appears in the next few days.
