In this deeply emotional journey, you’ll experience the tale of a young woman, Alba, and a wolf cub, Neva. The two must bond together to survive the terror-stricken realm, hoping to make a new home. During the Indie World Showcase, the devs behind the game, Nomada Studio, discuss how this story centers around motherhood, as Alba protects Neva from the surrounding dark forces.

The latest trailer showcases this mom-and-wolf dynamic, where the two characters often find themselves fighting against fearsome beasts. Even though Alba is considered the protector, Neva also has a few tricks up their furry sleeves. You can see a perfect example of this when Alba launches Neva into the air to sock a bird enemy right in the face.

Despite the world’s evilness, the scenery is quite breathtaking, almost giving off a calming vibe. If you loved Nomada Studio’s past entry, Gris, you’ll certainly see the beauty in its newest entry. Both games look straight out of a painting, and they get even better when paired with its soothing soundtrack.

Get ready for Neva’s release on Oct. 15, 2024, featuring the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Wishlists are also available on the game’s official site.
