Shadow Walker looks shady…get it?

This is the happiest trailer I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The music itself is like eating powered sugar (I’m betting Noriyuki Iwadare did the score). You’d think a game about walking in shadows would have a bit darker of a soundtrack, though.

Game Arts just updated their official webpage for their upcoming first WiiWare title, Shadow Walker, with this new video. You’ll see blondie Lux with his massive ahoge trotting around a sunny map, trying to avoid direct light.  That’s kind of the whole point of the game. They could have gone all dark and moody, like some other light-based platformer, but they didn’t. 

This title looks fantastic and sickly cute. It launches later this month in Japan for 1,000 Wii Points. Here’s hoping it gets localized soon. It doesn’t look like much work would be needed to bring it over.
