A new Diablo 4 season, a new chase for build-defining Uniques. If you’re a Rogue looking to up their Combo Point game with Condemnation, you’ve got two pretty good options and a whole lotta quality of life to help you find it. All you’ll need to do is fight two endgame bosses and cross your fingers.
How to summon Varshan and the Beast in Ice
Once you reach World Tier 3 by completing the Cathedral of Light dungeon in Kyovashad, you’ll be able to summon and tackle endgame bosses. Each of them has their own loot table, but Condemnation drops from just two: Varshan and the Beast in Ice.
Varshan can be summoned within the chasm located next to the Tree of Whispers. As of season 5, it only takes Malignant Hearts to summon him, and if you’ve got other body parts from bounties or Grotesques Debtors you can turn them into Hearts at the Alchemist. What’s more, you can summon him repeatedly without having to leave starting this season.
The Beast in Ice also got a lot easier to fight: just collect 9 Distilled Fear, which drops in Tier 30+ Nightmare Dungeons and head to the Glacial Fissure. No more crafting Sigils just to fight a boss, and, like with Varshan, you can summon him repeatedly.
Fighting these foes shouldn’t be too difficult if your build is somewhat optimized and you’ve got maxed resistances (Shadow for Varshan, and Ice for Beast in Ice, duh). If you’re really lucky, you won’t have to fight them at all, since Condemnation can drop from regular foes at a very low rate. Happy farming!
