The life of a farmer can get pretty lonely, especially if you’ve got a big ole’ plot of land with no one to share it with. Fortunately, thanks to the lineup of Mistria’s eligible bachelorettes and bachelors, you don’t have to go at it alone.
So, if you’re ready to put yourself out there, here are all the romance options in Fields of Mistria.

Romance characters and gift preferences in Fields of Mistria, explained
Step into the dating world of Mistria with the various single and ready-to-mingle characters. Currently, 10 bachelors and bachelorettes are available upon start, with two more who have yet to make their mark.
Although the two characters haven’t been revealed, it could have something to do with Caldarus, the Guardian of Mistria. This character, in particular, has a heart symbol in its dialogue, which typically links to a romanceable option. The Priestess from the Mines may also be another potential partner, but it still hasn’t been confirmed yet. Given that Fields of Mistria is still in Early Access, these two mystery dates could be arriving at a later time. I’ll explore the new update to see if they’re available, so check back here for more details.
We’ll break down each romanceable character in Fields of Mistria, including their gift preferences.
Adeline
Meet Mistria’s first bachelorette, Adeline, one of the first romanceable characters you’ll come across. As the town leader, she’ll handle a lot of your quests, giving you ample time to win her over.

There are sure to be more romance options and gift preferences in Fields of Mistria, so I’ll update this guide the more I play through the game.
What is the max Heart Level cap in Fields of Mistria?
Fields of Mistria’s first major update raises the Heart Level cap from four to six hearts. Use the gifts shown above or speak to the romanceable characters daily to reach this maximum level. Those who accomplish this feat may unlock the additional six Heart Events from the new update, triggering unique scenes with your special someone.
A future update will raise the Heart Level max cap to 10, offering more Heart Events to unlock. Marriage and children are also on the horizon, likely available after Level 10. However, these features may not arrive until Fields of Mistria’s full release, which has yet to have an official launch date.
How to unlock Shooting Star Festival date in Fields of Mistria
FoM Version 0.12.0 provides an exclusive date through the Shooting Star Festival. This event arrives on Summer 28 via the in-game calendar.
You must also complete the Beautification Project and reach Heart Level 4 to unlock the Shooting Star Festival date. Progress through the main storyline to trigger the Beautification Project sometime after the Mill Restoration Project.
The Update trailer showcases a glimpse of the date, taking you over to the cliffside of The Summit. Enjoy a romantic night out and watch the shooting stars with your alluring partner. It’s the perfect way to prepare for Fields of Mistria’s marriages, setting up your Heart Levels for its upcoming release.
